Board of Governors

The West Virginia University at Parkersburg Board of Governors is the governing body at WVU Parkersburg. The Board of Governors consists of twelve members: nine lay members, one member of the institutional classified employees, one full-time faculty member with the rank of instructor or above and one member of the student body, enrolled for college credit and elected by the student body. It is the mission of the Board of Governors to maintain general supervision and control over the academic and business affairs of the institution.

Agenda

The West Virginia University at Parkersburg Board of Governors’ schedule is determined by the Chair in consultation with the Board. Meeting are ordinarily held on the WVU Parkersburg main campus, but may be held at other locations with Board determination. The date, place, time and agenda of all regularly scheduled meetings as well as special meetings will be announced in advanced, and Board meetings are open to the public.
