About Alumni Relations
WVU Parkersburg is dedicated to fostering the growth and connectivity of its alumni. Alumni Relations strives to promote a lasting relationship among alumni, students, faculty and friends of the college through communications, and social and cultural events of the college.
If you have taken a course at WVU Parkersburg, you are an alumnus or alumna! Any current or former student of WVU Parkersburg (or Parkersburg Community College) is considered one of our alumni; whether or not they have graduated with a degree or certificate.
Alumni of The Year
The Alumna/Alumnus of the Year award recognizes an outstanding WVU Parkersburg (or Parkersburg Community College) alum who has made significant career, or academic, achievements or notable contributions to his/her profession, the community, state or nation. Alumni include anyone who has completed at least one, three credit hour course from WVU Parkersburg or, formerly, Parkersburg Community College. The Alumna/Alumnus of the Year is selected for distinguished personal, professional or academic achievement(s). It’s time to select our 2018 Alumna/nus of the Year. We invite you to nominate any alumni that represent the best of our college or a specific division and would act as a positive role model for current, prospective and former students. Nominations must be submitted by March 16, 2018.

The association is also open to members of our faculty and staff, parents of current students and alumni, partners/spouses of association members, and other friends of the college.

The West Virginia University at Parkersburg is an independent non-profit that recieves, invests and administers private support to students at the institution. Incorporated in 1971, your foundation is always here to support the college’s efforts with scholarships, programs for single parents, funding for campus activities, facility improvements and more. What we do, with your help, flows out into the communities. Our students become the workforce that is our small businesses and major industries need to maintain and grow.
